The price of a cake depends on the size and the amount of decorations. An elaborate single tier cake can cost more than a simple two tier. As a general rule the more sugar worklike flowers and figurines, the more the cake costs due to the time involved making them.
Here is a rough guide for round fondant covered cakes with simple icing decorations and ribbon on plain cake board:
6 inch (15cm) - $85
7 inch (17.5cm) - $100
8 inch (20cm) - $120
9 inch (23cm) - $130
10 inch (25cm) - $150
11 inch (28cm) - $175
12 inch (30cm) - $200
13 inch (33cm) - $240
14 inch (35.5cm) - $260
For iced boards, please add $25.
For tiered cakes, please add $20 per stacked tier.
